January 14.2011…..Riley Spraggs scored his first AJHL goal, on Jan Obernesser in
a 5-1 loss at Brooks.
January 16, 2005…..beat Sherwood Park 8-2 at the Arena. The 8 goals set a team record at the time, breaking the old mark of 7 set November 25, 2004 in a 7-5 win over Brooks.
The Dragons have since broken this record, but it stood for 152 games until tied November 7, 2007 in an 8-1 win against Olds. The Dragons broke the record with a 9-goal outburst to defeat Olds 9-5 September 13, 2008. 8 goals was the single game record for 218 regular season games.
January 16.2005…..Braden Desmet became the 2nd Dragon to play in 100 regular
season games, as the Dragons beat Sherwood Park 8-2 at the Arena.
January 16, 2009…..Justin Faryna scored his 20th goal of the season on Rob Gunderson of Brooks during an 8-4 loss at Brooks. Faryna became the 12th Dragon to reach the coveted 20-goal plateau. He finished the season with 28 goals, the third best single season mark in club history.
January 17, 2007…..Sniper Derek Werenka rejoined the Dragons from the Western Hockey League, and promptly scored his first goal in a 3-1 win in Calgary against the Canucks. Werenka played the final 14 games of 2006-07, scoring 5-6=11.
January 17 – February 09, 2008…..Dragons go 7-0-1 in an 8-game stretch, tied for 3rd
best regulation time undefeated streak in team history. The games were evenly split
home and away.

January 19, 2006…..A.J. Mikkelsen earns his 34th assist of the season to set a new single-season team record, breaking the old mark of 33 set in 2004-05 by Braden Desmet. Mikkelsen assisted on Dion Knelsen's 22nd goal of the season on the powerplay in a 5-1 win against Canmore to establish a new mark. This record has since been broken.
The same night Jonathan LaRose earned the victory in goal for the Dragons. This was the final start of a team record stretch which saw JLR start 14 consecutive games, 13 of which he finished.
During his streak, the club went 9-4-1 from December 3 through January 19. LaRose had one shutout, a goals against average of 2.95 and a save percentage of .913. Five times the little goalie was named Dragons player of the game.
