Dragons were on fire in Game #5 and they proved that the Bandits can't take the heat!! With a 4-1 series finish, the Dragons have captured the title of the AJHL South Division Champions from reigning champs the Brooks Bandits! The Brooks Bandits didn't have a chance to catch up as we powered through the game with Buffalo holding strong in net!
The Dragons are taking a much needed break as they prepare for the next round planning to achieve franchise history in winning the AJHL Championship title. It still remains uncertain if we will play the Spruce Grove Saints or the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, but for now it doesn't matter … We have proved to everyone that the Drumheller Dragons are already CHAMPIONS!
