The 2019 edition of the TELUS Teddy Toss was a huge success this past Friday night as the Dragons hosted the Calgary Canucks. It was rookie forward Nickolas De Beurs who would score the Teddy Bear goal just 3:52 seconds into the 1st period. The fans at the Memorial Arena let the bears rain down and covered the ice all in support of the Salvation Army, Victim Services, and the Drumheller Hospital! There was also a large amount of cash and food donations for the Salvation Army. A big thank you to the Drumheller Figure Skating Club for all their help in getting the bears off the ice, and to Western GM for providing a vehicle to get the bears home for the night.
