Drumheller, AB: The Dragons are extremely excited to announce that we have acquired 2006 born forward Wyatt Yule from the Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for the CJHL Rights to goaltender Matthew Kondro and future considerations!
Yule, who is the younger brother of last year’s Dragons captain Tate, produced 20 points in 49 games played last season. During the 2022-23 season, he played 8 games with the Dragons as an affiliate and had a goal and three points. Wyatt brings a hard-nosed and physical game to the Dragons lineup and looks to earn a top 6 role with the team for the upcoming season. Off the ice, he brings many of the same values and leadership qualities as his brother did, and will fit in seamlessly with the team. We are excited to welcome Wyatt and the Yule family back to Drumheller!
We would also like to thank Matthew Kondro for his time with the Dragons last season. He posted a 14-5-4 record with a .904 save percentage and a 2.90 goals against average. The 2007 born goaltender looks to earn a spot this upcoming season with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL.
