Dragons Complete Trade With Klippers

Drumheller, AB: September 22, 2019.  The Drumheller Dragons have completed a transaction with the Kindersley Klippers in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League announced Kevin Hasselberg Coach/ GM of the Dragons. The Dragons have sent F/D Dylan Wenzel to the Klippers in exchange for the CJHL rights of Parker Gavlas and a conditional player development fee.

Dylan Wenzel is playing his second season with the Dragons. The 6?4 nineteen-year-old defenseman from Calgary Alberta has played in 45 games with the Dragons compiling 124 penalty minutes and 5 assists.

Parker Gavlas is a 6?1 right shot defenseman from Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Gavlas is currently playing with the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League. In 87 Western Hockey League games split with Medicine Hat, Regina, and Edmonton, Gavlas has recorded 2 goals, 13 assists, and 91 minutes in penalties.
