Dragons Eliminated from AJHL Playoffs

The Drumheller Dragons have been eliminated from the AJHL Playoffs after dropping the opening round Best of 5 series to the Canmore Eagles 3-2. It was a thrilling series for fans of both teams, as four of the five contests required OT (including Double OT in Game 2). The Eagles would defeat the Dragons on home ice 2-1 in Game 5 to end the series in front of over 1300 fans. Canmore will now move on to face the Brooks Bandits in the South Division Semi-finals.

The entire Dragons organization would like to thank all the fans, sponsors, volunteers, and billets who made this season one of the best yet. We extend a big thank you to the graduating Dragons players including Bradley Stonnell, Jordan Taupert, Alex Rotundo, Hunter Virostek, Brett Edwards, and Dawson Bruneski for their time in Drumheller.
