Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons ended the 2024-25 regular season in exciting fashion as they knocked off the Calgary Canucks (the top team in the AJHL) with an big 6-3 win! That victory then jumped them into 3rd place in the AJHL South Division and gave them a first round date with the rival Canmore Eagles.
The series starts on the road with two games in Canmore (Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd) before returning for games three and four in Drumheller on Tuesday and Wednesday. This series is a rematch of the 2022-23 playoffs where the Dragons topped the Eagles in the 1st round as Coy Pighin scored the overtime winner in Game 6.
