Drumheller, AB: Anticipation for the start of the 2025-26 Dragons season is already building and the date is now set of when we kick things off!
The Dragons will take on the rival Canmore Eagles on September 19th, 2025 at the Memorial Arena to open up the 2025-26 AJHL Regular Season. This is a rematch of last year’s first round of the AJHL Playoffs which saw the Dragons knock off the Canmore Eagles in Game 7. These two teams and fan bases have built up quite the rivalry over the past few seasons and it is fitting that they meet for game one of the season.

The Dragons are determined to return to the AJHL finals for the first time in 11 seasons as the team returns a large number of their core and has a very high-end class of new recruits coming in looking to earn a spot.
