Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons are thrilled to add another important recruit for the 2020/21 season. The Dragons have inked 2002 born forward Sam Simard to a Letter of Intent for next year. Simard, who hails from Okotoks, AB, has spent the past 2 seasons with the Okotoks Midget AAA Oilers, serving as team captain in 19?/20?.
Simard has put up back-to-back 20+ point seasons in the AMHL, registering 8G-15A-23pts in 18?/19? & 12G-16A-29pts in 19?/20?. The dynamic forward also had a very impressive Mac?s Midget AAA Tournament this past winter, putting up 6 points in 4 games.
