Dragons Participate in Movember Movement

On November 1st, the Drumheller Dragons partnered with Naz Him and Bold Efexx to start Movember off with a clean slate to grow a new “mo” in support of Men’s Health.

“Movember is such a great cause, and I think that it is important that we bring awareness not only to women’s health like we do at our pink in the rink game, but also to men’s health as well” said Dragons Business Manager, Nicky Faye.

Naz and Bold Efexx came down to the arena after the players were done practice, and had all the players faces shaved clean in no time. “All the players had a blast getting shaved, and are excited to regrow their mustaches for a good cause,” said Dragons Head Coach/GM, Kevin Hasselberg.

Assistant Captain Markus Boguslavsky had this to say about the cause, “The Movember movement is such a fantastic cause and I, along with my teammates are more than happy to participate in the continued success of addressing men's health. When a whole team agrees to support movements like these, big impacts can be made and we are more than happy to grow “mo's” and raise awareness for men's health.”
