The Drumheller Dragons wish to announce the recent signings of Ethan James and Harrison Blayney.
Ethan James is a 95 born F who played for the Southeast Tigers AAA in Medicine Hat. Ethan had 12-GP, 2-G, 9-A, 11-Pts and 2-PIM in the 2012/13 season
GM/Head Coach, Brian Curran commented on the recent signing, “Ethan is a highly skilled, smooth skater with very good hockey sense. We look for great things from Ethan and are very happy to have him in Drumheller.”
Ethan had this to say about his recent signing, “I chose the Dragons because it’s the best fit for me as a player entering junior hockey. I feel Brian Curran will develop me and he is a proven coach at all levels. I am excited for this opportunity.”
Harrison Blayney is a 95 born F who played for the St. Albert Sports Raiders AAA. Harrison had 32-GP, 0-G, 3-A. 3-Pts and 108-PIM.
GM/Head Coach, Brian Curran commented on the recent signing of Harrison, “Blayney is a strong skater, a big forward who competes hard and likes the physical side of the game! A player who our fans will enjoy watching. We are happy to have him as part of the Dragon Family.”
Blayney commented on his signing with the Dragons, “I chose Drumheller because I felt that the coaching staff and the organization itself were where I wanted to start my junior career. I have family down in the Drumheller area which also helped me out on choosing where I wanted to go. I am very excited for the season to start and to meet new faces.”
