The Drumheller Dragons wish to announce the recent signing of Jesse Zaharichuk.
Jesse a 97 born forward played the 2012-2013 Season in the AMHL. Jesse had 33-GP, 14-G, 20-A, 34-PTS and 14-PIM. Jesse finished tied for 10th in League scoring during the regular season.
GM/Head Coach, Brian Curran commented on the recent signing, “Jesse played for the Major AAA Kings. I have watched Jesse for a while and am very fortunate to have him. Jesse is a very skilled forward, works very hard and his passion is second to none!! We welcome Jesse to the Drumheller Dragons.”
Jesse had this to say about the Dragons, “The reason I chose to play in Drumheller is because I get the opportunity to play under Brian Curran. His coaching style suits my playing style and will help me continue developing as a player. Also it’s relatively close to my hometown, Sherwood Park. I’ve heard good things about the team and the fan support. I am excited to be part of the Dragons organization.”
