The Drumheller Dragons wish to announce the recent signings of Lindsay MacLellan.
Lindsay is a 96 born center who played for the Notre Dame Argos Midget AAA. In the 2012/13 Season MacLellan had 44-GP 11-G, 18-A for 29 Pts for the Argos. In the playoffs MacLellan played 3 games for 2 goals and 2 pts.
GM/Head Coach, Brian Curran commented on the recent signing by saying, “It is great to have Lindsay become part of the Dragons Family. Lindsay had a very strong camp and I believe that he will add much needed offense and grit to the Team. Welcome to the Dragons Family Lindsay!”
MacLellan had this to say about his recent signing, “I choose to play in Drumheller for a few reasons, the main one being the coaching staff. I really like Brian’s style of coaching and the fact that he was Coach of the Year in the 2011-12 season was a huge factor in my decision making process. Wayne Labrie, the Head Scout, has also treated me very well. I enjoy the small town atmosphere as I grew up in a small town myself, and I think Drumheller would be a very good fit for me. “
