The Dragons travelled to Spruce Grove on Friday to take on the Saints. Colton Vannucci opened the scoring in the second period with a power play goal at 23 seconds. Spruce Grove answered back with a goal at 6:30 to leave the second at a 1-1 tie. The 3rd period saw the Saints pull ahead with a goal at 1:26, 6:30 & 6:46. This left the Dragons down 4-1. Tyler Kerner was able to get the Dragons closer at 8:53, but it would not be enough. The Dragons fell to the Saints 4-2
Sunday saw the Dragons head to Sherwood Park to take on the Crusaders in an afternoon game. With no scoring in the 1st period, the Dragons Tanner Kissick scored a power play marker at 3:38 of the 2nd to get on the board. The Cru answered back at 8:16 to tie the game. The Dragons had the go ahead goal at 15:56 from Tyler Kerner to end the 2nd period. The 3rd period saw Dakota Zaharichuk score at 1:28 to take a 3-1 lead. The Dragons finished the Cru off with another goal at 8:45 on the power play from Brodie Jamieson.
The next Dragons action is on Friday and Saturday when the Canucks and Grizzlys come to town respectively.
