Dudley and Mattson Commit to Dragons

The Drumheller Dragons are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Troy Dudley and forward Leif Mattson.

The Dragons acquired Mattson from the Brooks Bandits to complete a trade from last season. Mattson who turns 17 in July and hails from Manitoba, “I'm extremely excited for the opportunities ahead of me in Drumheller. I hear nothing but good things about the team and the community and I can't wait to get things started.”

Coach Brian Curran,” Leif is a young power forward with both a great shot and hockey sense. I look forward to working with Leif and helping him attain his goals. I believe Mattson will be a player to watch now and in the future”


Curran was also happy to announce the signing of Troy Dudley. “Troy was one of our top priorities in recruiting this year as he is a great skating defenseman with strong puck moving skills and excellent hockey sense”

“I'm really excited about the opportunity to play for Brian Curran and to be part of the Drumheller Dragons organization,” said 17 year old Edmontonian Dudley.
