The Dragons took on the Lloydminster Bobcats on Wednesday, Dec 5. This game was the annual Encana Teddy Toss in support of the Salvation Army. The Dragons Stephen Doane started the flood of bears to the ice at the 11 min mark. The Hiway 9 Peewee Raptors were quick to get the bears picked up and the game resumed. The Bobcats scored at 9:30 of the 3rd period to tie the game. The Dragons however answered back with a goal from Ryan Bloom at 10:02. The Bobcats tied the game at 2 at 10:43, they would then get the go ahead goal at 14:15, to defeat the Dragons 3-2.
Thank you to everyone who attended the game and threw a Teddy on the ice. The bears have been delivered to the Salvation Army and they will distribute them this Christmas to the children in the Drumheller Area.
