Former Dragon Defenseman Commits to University of Lethbridge

The Drumheller Dragons are proud to announce that former defenseman Clint Filbrandt has committed to the University of Lethbridge for the 2016-17 season.

Filbrandt will be studying business at the University of Lethbridge, and will join the Pronghorns for the next four seasons.

“I would like to congratulate Clint on his commitment to the U of L,” said Dragons Head Coach Brian Curran. “I believe that Clint will have an outstanding college career and I look forward to watching his progress over the next several years.”

Filbrandt spent two seasons with the Dragons organization, tallying 10 goals and 41 goals in his final 20-year-old season for a total of 51 points in 57 games. “Clint has the ability to become a solid all-around player and will certainly help on the power play, as that is one of his strengths,” added Curran.
