Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons are excited to announce that 2005 born forward, Kai Matthew, has rejoined the team for the remainder of the 2024-25 season!
Matthew, who had played two seasons with the Dragons and had produced 41 points in 68 games played from 2022 to 2024, had most recently joined the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. During his time with the Blazers, he had put up 23 points in 57 games played. Kai will be a welcomed addition to the Dragons forward group, being a top-level talent with his elite shot and offensive ability.
Dragons fans will be excited to welcome back one of their fan favourites as he will be in the lineup for this upcoming weekend’s games against the Canmore Eagles and Calgary Canucks!
