Kenton Levesque Returns to Dragons

Drumheller, AB: June 4, 2018. The Drumheller Dragons are pleased to announce the return of Kenton Levesque as the newest member of the Hockey Operations Coaching Staff. The Former Dragon’s Captain resides in Calgary and comes from Ponoka Alberta. Kenton will begin his coaching journey with the Drumheller Dragons on August 1st. in time for the 2018/19 season.  
Levesque played three seasons with the Drumheller Dragons, his last as the Captain of the team. While Levesque was with the Dragons in 2010-11 he was awarded the Hardest Working Dragon Award and the Jeff Hendricks Memorial Scholarship. In 2011-12 he again was awarded the Hardest Working Dragon. He then moved on to play in the ACAC with SAIT Trojans before beginning his Coaching career, most recently as the Head Coach with the AC Avalanche in the Alberta Minor Midget Hockey League. In addition to coaching, Levesque is a skills development coach and has worked with P3 Sports, an elite hockey and leadership skills development company out of Cochrane Alberta.
Drumheller Dragons Head Coach Kevin Hasselberg had this to say about the addition of Levesque “Kenton is a natural fit within the Dragons Organization. He has earned the communities trust providing fans with inspirational play on the ice, and dedication to the community off the ice. Kenton is extremely passionate about developing players and is excited to contribute to the success of the Dragons Hockey Team.”

The Drumheller Dragons are forever grateful for the work former Assistant Coach Brayden Klimosko provided to the team. Brayden has returned to Saskatchewan to pursue Coaching opportunities closer to home. On behalf of the Drumheller Dragons, we would like to thank Brayden for his hard work and dedication in making the 2017/18 season a success. We would like to wish him continued success in his future coaching opportunities.
