Main Camp Recap

The Dragons Main Camp held this past weekend hosted players from throughout North America concluded on a high note. This past weekends camp saw old and new faces on the ice, all there to secure a spot on the roster.

Coach Curran had this to say, “I was very impressed with the skill level and conditioning of our players. There were some tough decisions to be made as we kept our numbers low and the competition level was high.”

After some tough cuts the potential roster is down from 36 to 31.  Coaching staff will continue to put the boys through their paces in the upcoming AJHL tournament in Okotoks.  First game will be at Pason Centennial Arena against Brooks Bandits at 4:30pm this Thursday, August 24, 2015.

Brian Curran, “There will be three tough exhibition games this week that will help determine the next cuts.  I’m looking for the compete level of our players. It must be very high and players must be willing to pay the price.”

Thank you to billet coordinator Corrine Colette for stepping up to the challenge of finding homes during Main Camp for the Dragons and thank you to all our billet families, we couldn't do it without you.
