Rebecca Kuresh Named Dragons Athletic Therapist/ Equipment Manager

Drumheller, AB: July 25, 2018. The Drumheller Dragons are pleased to announce the hiring of Rebecca Kuresh to the Hockey Operations Coaching Staff. From Calgary AB, Rebecca will begin her duties as the Athletic Therapist/ Equipment Manager with the Dragons on August 8th in time for the 2018/19 season.
Kuresh is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from Mount Royal Universities athletic therapy program in 2018 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Okanangan. She holds certifications as a First Responder and CPR – HCP. Rebecca spent the 2017-18 season working closely with the Mount Royal University Men’s Hockey Team taking on responsibilities with the Strength and Conditioning Team, Team Physician’s, Coaches, and Athletes. Her student experience has allowed her to work with University of Calgary Athletes, Okanagan Hockey Academy, the Edge Sports School, and Panther Sports Medicine. 
Drumheller Dragons Head Coach Kevin Hasselberg had this to say about the addition of Kuresh “We are excited to introduce Rebecca to the Hockey Operations Team and the community of Drumheller. She brings a lot of enthusiasm and passion to this position with shared values and a willingness to learn and get better. Rebecca is someone we look forward to growing the program with whom has already shown she can work with and help our players develop.”
