Stonnell Returns from Cedar Rapids

Drumheller, AB: December 5, 2017               The Drumheller Dragons would like to announce the addition of Bradley Stonnell to the Dragons active roster. Stonnell recently returned from the Cedar Rapid Rough Riders in the United States Hockey League. 

Stonnell is a 5’11” highly skilled offensive defenseman from Surrey British Columbia. In 16 games played with Cedar Rapids, Stonnell contributed 2 points. During the 2016/17 season and his first season with the Drumheller Dragons, Stonnell scored 12 goals and added 26 assists for 38 points. He also earned player of the month honors while with the Dragons during the 2016/17 season. 

Head Coach Kevin Hasselberg had this to say about the addition of Stonnell. “Bradley is a welcome addition to our roster. He is familiar with all the players and his transition back into the room should be effortless. He will impact our back end and start contributing immediately. We are excited to add Bradley and begin working with him to assist him in advancing to the College level.”
