Dragons Still Working Out Kinks

The Drumheller Dragons were unable to break their losing streak Tuesday night, losing 5-1 to the Calgary Canucks.

The Dragons have their work cut-out for them and the road back to success will be a bit longer than previously expected but there is improvement with the team.

Coach Curran, “Although we are not improving as quickly as I’d like there are signs that we are heading in the right direction.”

The Dragons although struggling, especially without top goal scorer Chynoweth, are up to the challenge displaying a more physical presence in the defensive zone. The addition of Jeff Rayman we hope will help the team with their defence.

“With each game we continue to have more players recognize what it takes to play in the AJHL,” said Curran.

Next game: Drumheller Dragon host the Fort McMurray Oil Barons Friday, October 16th at 7:30pm.
