Schofield Commits to MacEwan University

The Drumheller Dragons are proud to announce that assistant captain Jacob Schofield has committed to Grant MacEwan University for the 2016-2017 season. Jacob has been with the Dragons since 2014 has been a solid presence with the team on and off the ice.“I am very happy for Jacob as he has worked very hard over the years here and gives you every thing on and off the ice, said Head Coach/GM, Brian Curran.I am sure that he will have a great college career and I hope all the best for him. Jacob leads by example every day and will be a very positive influence to all players as he moves on in his career.”


“We are real excited to have Jacob join us next year at MacEwan University as we move into our new downtown arena in Edmonton.  Jacob is a high quality person who thinks and competes very well at both ends of the ice and will be a great addition to our program.  Thank you to Brian Curran and the Dragons organization for the continued support as Jacob will be the 4th graduate from the Dragons on our team next year joining Bryton Mills, Dallas Smith and Dakota Zaharichuk. “
