U of C Adds Mitchell Cook to Roster

Mitchell Cook three year veteran forward of the Drumheller Dragons will be starting this season with the University of Calgary Dinos. Mitchell will be entering the Arts program this fall with plans to transfer to Business. A Kelowna native, Cook joined the Dragons in 2012 and developed into becoming one of the top power forwards in the AJHL. His ability to fend off checkers, take pucks to the net and powerful wrist shot made him a challenge for opposing teams.

“I’d like to thank Mitch for his three years with the Dragons. His growth as a player and dedication makes him as asset to the Dinos. I have no doubt the Mitch will exceed in University,” Brian Curran.

Cook wrapped his AJHL career with 164 games played, 50 goals, 74 assists totaling 124 points with 124 penalty minutes.
