Danielson Named AJHL Player of the Week

Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons had a bounce back week this week, and if you are looking for a reason why, look no further than Noah Danielson. Coming off losses from the Brooks Bandits on January 3rd and then another loss to the Olds Grizzlys on January 6th, the team was in need of a spark. Noah Danielson did just that and then some, leading the team to a clean sweep of their northern road trip and earning the AJHL Player of the Week award in the process.

Danielson rode a six game point streak during the month of January, seeing him score 9 goals and add 4 assists for 13 points in that span, including four straight multi-goal games. Danielson has been one of the team’s most productive forwards over this season, having recorded 20 goals and 39 points in only 32 games up to date. Aside from this offensive production, the Dragons forward has brought a veteran presence to the locker room and plays an important role in the leadership of the team.

Don’t miss Noah Danielson and the Dragons as they face off against two South Division rivals this weekend. The Dragons host the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Friday night for “Minor Hockey Night” and then square off with the Canmore Eagles on Saturday night at the Memorial Arena.
