The Drumheller Dragons are pleased to announce the acquisition of new goaltending coach Dereck Purfield.
Dereck has a wealth of experience with goaltenders and has had great success in his career with moving players to the next level! He has worked with such teams as the Calgary Buffaloes, Okotoks Oilers, and the Swift Current Broncos.
GM/Head Coach Brian Curran had this to say about the recent acquisition, “As a coach, I feel very fortunate to have Derek be a part of our organization. I look forward to working with him to develop our goaltenders and take our team to the next level.”
