Dragons Back on the Road- Proves Unsuccessful

Drumheller Dragons Lose to Calgary Canucks.

The Dragons were back on the road last night and unfortunately seem to still have a monkey on their back. The team appeared to be struggling and it showed in the score, 5-0. Drumheller is clearly missing some of their more prominent players.  Chynoweth, Duncan, Filbrandt and Dykma have been out of the line- up due to injuries and the Canucks, greatly improved, seemed to take advantage of any cracks in the Dragon foundation.

The first period showed the Dragons from the previous night; prepared to play.  Regrettably this would be short lived as continuous poor turnovers would play to the Canucks advantage causing a snowball effect throughout the game.

“As a coaching staff we are very aware that our team needs to be in a better place than we are right now. We have identified our issues and what needs to be done now it’s the process of execution. “Coach Curran.

The Dragons hit the road again this week to faceoff against  Spruce Grove Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00pm.
