The Drumheller Dragons came out strong as they hosted the Calgary Mustangs in their final home game of the regular season in front of a fantastic crowd.
For the Mustangs, one point ahead of the Canucks this game would mean everything as this would solidify the Mustangs final playoff spot in the Southern Division playoffs.
Solid performances from players will only continue to build the teams confidence as they enter the playoffs. Dragons coach had this to say, ” I thought for the most part the team was focused and really starting to come together at the right time and in a game where the outcome had so much at stake for the Mustangs we were ready for the challenge and handled the pressure very well. PP and PK were very good tonight where special teams are so important in the playoffs.”
The Dragons skated away with a 6-3 victory leaving the ice to a very loud crowd!
Drumheller heads to Camrose for the final game of the regular season for a 7:00pm start against the tough Kodiaks!!
