Long-time Dragons Volunteer Wins AJHL Award

Barry Pozzo has held the volunteer position of Director of Off-Ice Officials for the Dragons since their inaugural season in 2003-04. Earlier this season, he was nominated for the Viterra Salute to Service Volunteer Award, which recognizes the service and commitment of one volunteer from the AJHL South Division and one volunteer from the North Division. Last week it was announced that Pozzo had won the Award for the South Division. At Sunday’s playoff game in Drumheller vs. Canmore, Pozzo accepted the award from Viterra correspondent Vic Wall.
