Daneault Ranked on NHL Central Scouting List

Drumheller, AB: The National Hockey League Central Scouting (NHLCS) department have just released their midterm rankings list in preparation for the 2023 NHL Draft. 14 players from the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) have earned their way onto that list, including Dragons forward and leading scorer, Ty Daneault.

Daneault, who has gained NHL attention after a strong showing for Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challange this past December, will look to continue to turn heads as the Dragons march towards the AJHL playoffs. Daneault currently sits atop the Dragons scoring lead with 23 goals and 42 points in just 32 games. He also sits in the top 15 scorers in the AJHL as his impressive season continues.

The 2023 NHL Draft is scheduled to take place for June 28th and 29th in Nashville, Tennessee.
