The Drumheller Dragons held there final event of this season their “Awards Evening”
This is the night that we celebrate and thank our staff, fans, billets, game security, volunteers, ownership, corporate partners, and finally acknowledge our players, some with individual awards. The season is over now for the Dragons but this year’s Dragons we have to be proud of. With all the adversity this team faced they never used excuses and never gave up doing us proud to the very end!
Fans, parents and the whole organization were there to say Thank You to these young men. Although they were unable to accomplish their goal to win a Championship everyone in that room acknowledged them as winners in so many other ways.
Coach, “This night is about the boys, and it's great to see that so many people have come out to say thanks as well as to say goodbye to our 20 year olds. I will miss them all but in my own way have very good memories of each one of them that I will carry for a lifetime. This event was well run and I would like to thank everyone and a special thanks to Double D Catering.”
