The Drumheller Dragons are proud to announce that Dakota Zaharichuk has committed to Grant MacEwan University for the 2015-2016 season.
Dakota has been with the Dragons for the last 3 seasons and has been a huge factor in the success of the team since his arrival. As the teams regular season scoring champ he was also a very strong leader on and off the ice.
Coach Brian Curran had this to say, ” I am very proud and happy for Dakota as he had some tough decisions to make. I believe that Dakota will have a very successful college career. As one our best players in Drumheller I look forward to his success with the Grant MacEwan Griffins. I wish Dakota all the best in his future as I know this is just the beginning for him.
