Dragons Lose a Tough one!!
The Drumheller Dragons hosted the Camrose Kodiaks in one of the most exciting and entertaining games of the season!!
Rory Davidson of the Dragons put the Dragons on the board first. It wouldn't last long as the Kodiaks scored 3 unaswered
goals by ( Nelson Gadoury, Scott Ferguson and Ryker Leer), as the Kodiaks were up 3-1 at the end of the 1st period.
In the second on goals by Reid Nemeth and Rory Davidson his second of the night tied the game at 3!!
The period was full of energy and excitement as both teams went end to end in a highly spirited period.
The third period was much like the second and looked like it was heading into OT but with 1:26 left in the period Cam Gotaas scored the eventual game winner.
The Dragons did pull their goaltender but Camrose netted a empty net goal to make it a 5-3 final.
The Dragons host another tough rival match up on Dec. 22nd against the Okotoks Oilers. Game time is at 7 pm.
