The Drumheller Dragons are taking on the Whitecourt Wolverines on Saturday, Dec 1 @ 7:30pm in the Drumheller Memorial Arena. The guys play back to back, and will be back on the ice Sunday, Dec 2 at 2pm against the Camrose Kodiaks. The Kods will be looking to avenge the shoot out loss on Thursday night.
The Dragons headed to Camrose Thursday to take on the Kodiaks. Camrose got on the bored first with a power play marker at 11:14 of the 2nd period. The Dragons fought back and scored at 10:01 of the 3rd to make it a tie game. Rauckman gave the Dragons the go ahead marker at 17:06 of the 3rd. The Kodiaks came back to tie the game at 19:23 of the 3rd. This game was headed to overtime. Overtime saw the teams evenly matched with not many opportunities. The game then headed to a shoot out. Zaharichuk scored 1st, then Camrose tied it. 4 more shooters attempted to win the game, but it took the 6th shooter, Stephen Doane to give the Dragons the win. This becomes the Dragons 7th win in a row.
