Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons are excited to announce the signing of 2006 born forward Carter Cunningham for the 2023/2024 AJHL season. Cunningham is a 6’2″, 180lbs forward that currently plays for the Lethbridge Hurricanes U18 AAA team of the AEHL. In 31 games this season, he has recorded 17 goals and 37 points and currently sits 9th in league scoring. Cunningham is also an affiliate for the Dragons, and recorded a point in his first AJHL game earlier this season against the Olds Grizzlys.
Dragons Head Coach and General Manager, Kevin Hasselberg, states that Carter is a dynamic player that will have an immediate impact on the team next season. “Carter is a passionate player that can adjust to a game as it is being played. He can play with skill and generate offence, or he can be physical and energetic. We are excited with Carter’s addition and are confident he will contribute and impact the game immediately.”
