Daneault Named AJHL Player of the Month

Drumheller, AB: What a season it has been for Dragons forward and leading scorer, Ty Daneault. His list of accomplishments this year include being named to Team Canada West for the World Jr. A Challenge, being listed on the NHL Central Scouting Watchlist, and now he has been named the AJHL Player of the Month for January.

The Dragons forward continues to lead the team in scoring, as he currently sits at 31 goals and 57 points in just 41 games played. He sits third in the league for goals, just one tally behind the league leader. In the month of January, the Merrimack College commit had 10 goals and 11 assists in just 12 games, leading the Dragons to 8-3-1 record as they head into the final month of the regular season. His 21 points in January also led all AJHL players, as he rode a ten game point streak during the month and recorded six multi-point games.
