Drumheller, AB: April 8th, 2020- The Drumheller Dragons are excited to announce that 20-year-old defenseman Joel Patsey has committed to the Concordia University Thunder (ACAC) in Edmonton,AB for the fall of 2020.
Patsey joined the Dragons for the 2019/20 season after 2 years with the 100 Mile House Wranglers (KIJHL). Prior to his junior career, Joel spent three seasons with the Midget AAA Cariboo Cougars (BCMML) which included a Mac?s tournament title. Patsey appeared in 54 regular season games for the Dragons (4G-13A-17Pts) and scored 1 goal in the Dragons 1st round playoff series against the Olds Grizzlys. Joel has always been highly respected by his peers and coaches for his hard work and dedication on and off the ice.
The entire Drumheller Dragons organization would like to congratulate Joel and the Patsey family on this opportunity and wish him continued success in his academic and athletic pursuits.
