The second period started with Drumheller on the power play and they capitalized. Alex Rotundo scored his 13th from Tyler Kreklewich and Bradley Stonnell 24 seconds in. The Dragons got a five on three man adavantage four minutes into the second and scored their fourth goal. Brett Edwards with his 20th from Slater Dykema and Troy Dudley. Jordan Taupert scored his 24th from Andrew Kartusch. Then 27 seconds later, Markus Boguslavsky scored his first goal since December 16th with assists going to Tyler Kreklewich and Josh Laferierre.
