Dragons show support for the Community

On Monday October 2, six of the Drumheller Dragons went to Bold Efexx Hair Shop & Spa to shave their heads for cancer.

β€œIt was a last minute decision to do it, and we wanted to show our support for our friends, family, and community members who have been affected by Cancer,” said Drumheller Dragons Forward #27 Brayden Nicholetts.

Nicholetts was one of the six along with, Captain Andrew Kartusch, Kaden Hanas, Brady Risk, Owen Churko, and Dawson Bruneski to get their heads shaved.

β€œI think that it is great how much the Dragons are showing their support in the Community this year. It really proves that they truly care about the town that gives them a place to play hockey.” Said Business Manager Nicky Faye.

The Dragons will be also be doing another skate with the Dragons afternoon on Sunday October 15, following their game at 2:00PM against the Camrose Kodiaks.

The Dragons next home game is Saturday October 7, at 7:30PM against the Olds Grizzlys.
