Jackson Grosshans Added to Dragons Active Roster

Drumheller, AB: November 7, 2017. The Drumheller Dragons would like to announce the team has added 99 born Defenseman Jackson Grosshans to the active roster. Jackson joins the team from the Anaheim Jr. Ducks in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League.

Grosshans, from Laguna Hills California, is a 6’0” 185 lb right shot defenseman. In 12 games played this season with the Jr. Ducks, Grosshans has accumulated 3 goals, 5 assists for 8 points. During the 2016/17 season, Grosshans played in 31 games and added 2 points.

With the addition of Jackson, the Dragons are now carrying 7 defensemen heading into the December 1st cut down date. With the recent unfortunate departure of 20-year-old defenseman Josh Bishop due to injury, the roster spot came available. Bishop was injured in a game against the Brooks Bandits and will be out of the line-up indefinitely.

Fans can expect to see Grosshans in action this weekend when the Dragons visit the Olds Grizzlys on Friday November 10th and the Camrose Kodiaks the following evening. Grosshans arrived in Drumheller and has been practicing with the team.
