The Drumheller Dragons are pleased to announce the addition of Tyler Hofmann as the newest member of the Hockey Operations Coaching Staff. From Vilna, Alberta, Tyler will begin his journey with the Drumheller Dragons on August 1st. in time for the 2017/18 season.
Hofmann recently graduated from the University of Calgary completing his Bachelors of Kinesiology with a major in Athletic Therapy with Distinction. He also holds certification in First Aid Level C, Alberta Red Cross First Aid HCP/CPR, Alberta Red Cross, and is an Unregistered Emergency Medical Responder. Tyler worked closely with the U of C men’s hockey team last season performing all medical and equipment duties mentoring under Dave Welichka who is the owner of Skate Doctor and the Equipment Manager of the U of C Men’s Hockey Team.
Drumheller Dragons Head Coach Kevin Hasselberg had this to say about the addition of Hofmann, “We are thrilled to add Tyler to the Hockey Operations Team. Tyler takes preparation very serious, brings a lot of enthusiasm, and has a tremendous work ethic. He achieved excellence while in University making the Dean’s List at Mount Royal University, graduating with Distinction from University of Calgary, and being awarded one of only 50 New Relationship Trust Undergraduate Scholarship’s.”
